Varicella Zoster Virus (VZV)
Use
Varicella Zoster Virus (VZV), a member of the human herpes virus family, causes two distinct clinical manifestations: chickenpox (varicella) and shingles (reactivation). Primary VZV infection may rarely result in complications including encephalitis or pneumonia. This immunohistochemistry antibody detects VZV in formalin‑fixed, paraffin‑embedded (FFPE) tissues, facilitating diagnosis of VZV‑related disease.
