Use
This test is intended for individuals with clinical or suspected diagnoses of autoinflammatory disorders, which are often characterized by symptoms such as systemic inflammation and periodic fevers. It is also useful for individuals with a family history of such disorders.
Special Instructions
The test employs Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) with CNV analysis using either an Exome or Genome platform. It is important to choose the appropriate specimen types and ensure correct handling to prevent sample rejection.
Limitations
The test may not detect all genetic variants associated with autoinflammatory disorders. Structural variants and low-level mosaicism might not be detected. Variants of unknown significance may be found, and interpretation depends heavily on the clinical context provided.
