Use
This test is intended for individuals with clinical or suspected diagnosis of male infertility, providing genetic insights through analysis of 137 genes. It aims to help in identifying genetic causes of male infertility and guide patient management and treatment decisions.
Special Instructions
Tests developed and validated by PreventionGenetics following CAP and CLIA regulations, although not FDA approved. Blood, DNA, Buccal, Saliva, and Tissue are specimens accepted for Exome Platform; for Genome Platform, Blood and DNA are accepted. New York State genetic testing approval required for specimens collected there.
Limitations
Tests not cleared or approved by the US FDA. Test interpretation is contingent on quality of clinical information provided. The test may not detect all genetic variants related to infertility due to methodological constraints and gene coverage limitations.
