Special Instructions
The test is performed using targeted PCR methodology, which is designed specifically for the detection of Y chromosome deletions. STAT testing is available, which expedites the process to 8-10 days at an additional cost. Limitations
This analysis is restricted to detecting deletions on the Y chromosome and does not provide information on other potential genetic abnormalities that could influence male infertility.
