PredictrPK® IFX Maintenance
Use
The IFX Maintenance test predicts infliximab trough levels and calculates clearance to guide the optimization of dosing strategies in IBD patients. This aims to maintain stable therapeutic levels over time and improve the durability of biologic response.
Special Instructions
Collect samples ≤3 days prior to week 14 or any time ≥20 days after an IFX maintenance infusion and before trough to ensure accurate assessment of drug trough levels and patient drug clearance.
Limitations
As a non-FDA approved laboratory-developed test, the results should be integrated cautiously into clinical decision-making. Inter-patient variability in drug metabolism may not be fully encompassed by test parameters.
