Use
The PredictrPK VDZ Maintenance test aids in predicting vedolizumab (VDZ) trough levels through precision-guided dosing. It calculates VDZ clearance and measures antibodies-to-VDZ (ATV) and albumin in intravenous VDZ-treated IBD patients aged 18 and over, ensuring effective maintenance of therapeutic levels.
Special Instructions
Testing should be performed ≤3 days before week 14 or any time ≥20 days after a maintenance infusion, before trough. Proper adherence to timing rules ensures accurate results.
Limitations
As a laboratory-developed test lacking FDA approval, its use is limited to clinical contexts within established validation frameworks. Differences in patient responses due to untested or unexpected pharmacokinetic factors may occur.
