Use
To identify disease‑causing mutations in individuals affected with beta‑thalassemia; to identify carriers in high‑risk ethnic groups or those with positive family history; and for prenatal diagnosis of beta‑thalassemia.
Special Instructions
Provide ethnicity, clinical indication, name of referring physician, and referring physician’s phone number.
