This assay measures cortisol in saliva collected at four specified time points. It supports evaluation of disorders related to adrenal function, such as Cushing syndrome and Addison disease, as well as pituitary disorders and congenital adrenal hyperplasia, by providing multiple time-point cortisol profiling.

Collection Instructions
Collect saliva at least 60 minutes after brushing teeth, meals, or oral medications, and 10 minutes after rinsing mouth. Place swab in cheek for ~2 minutes without chewing. Return swab to Salivette, replace stopper, refrigerate immediately.
