Collection Instructions
2 mL plasma collected in a sodium heparin (green‑top) tube - protect from light. Other acceptable specimens: plasma in EDTA (lavender‑top); serum in red‑top (no gel); collect blood sample with foil‑wrapped tube. Separate plasma or serum by centrifugation; avoid hemolysis; remove to light‑protected tube; freeze immediately; ship frozen on dry ice.
