Use
This test is intended for the qualitative detection of Zika virus RNA to aid in diagnosing Zika virus infection during the acute phase. Serum and urine specimens collected on the same date are required, reflecting CDC-recommended paired specimen testing for molecular detection.
Special Instructions
Both serum and urine, with the same collection date, are required for each patient. Order separately from other tests on a separate requisition. Follow specific collection instructions for serum and urine (detailed below).
