Use
The Aldolase, Serum test is used to evaluate muscle damage and certain myopathies. It provides a measure of aldolase enzyme levels, which are elevated in conditions affecting muscle tissue such as muscular dystrophy and other inflammatory myopathies. This test has been largely replaced by more specific markers like CK, AST, and ALT for muscle or liver damage diagnosis.
