Use
This test measures the concentration of Immunoglobulin E (IgE) specific to goat epithelium, helping in the diagnosis of allergic reactions to goats. It is important for assessing the potential of allergic responses to goat exposure.

Limitations
Results within the range of 0.10-0.34 kU/L are indeterminate and intended for specialist interpretation as clinical relevance is undetermined. Increasing concentrations of allergen-specific IgE do not always correlate with symptoms or skin test results. Negative results do not rule out clinical allergy or anaphylaxis as IgE levels may not fully depict patient reactions.
