Limitations
Results of 0.10-0.34 kU/L have undetermined clinical relevance and are intended for specialist use. Although increasing IgE concentrations generally indicate increasing allergic sensitivity, these levels may not correlate precisely with the clinical response as observed in skin testing or exposure to the allergen. A negative test result can’t definitively rule out clinical allergy or anaphylaxis. It's important to correlate laboratory results with clinical history and in vivo reactivity.
