Use
Cluster of differentiation 10 (CD10) is critical for use in the diagnosis and subclassification of leukemias (e.g., B lymphoblastic leukemia, mixed phenotype acute leukemia, etc.) and lymphomas (e.g., follicular lymphoma, Burkitt lymphoma, diffuse large B cell lymphoma, angioimmunoblastic T cell lymphoma).

Limitations
The test is subject to limitations based on the type of specimen and fixation method used. Only specimens fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin (NBF) or B plus are accepted. Other fixatives will result in specimen rejection.

Collection Instructions
Fixative should be at a 20:1 fixative to tissue ratio; use 10% neutral buffered formalin for 6-72 hours (48-72 hours preferred).
Storage Instructions
Store at 15°C to 25°C. Ambient shipping conditions recommended with refrigerated (not frozen) gel pack to protect from extreme temperatures.
Causes for Rejection
Specimens fixed in non-approved fixatives will be rejected.
