Use
CD8 is found on a subset of T-cells deemed normal cytotoxic/suppressor cells, which make up approximately 20-35% of non-diseased human peripheral blood lymphocytes. CD8 is also been reported to be present on a subset of natural killer (NK) cells.

Limitations
Specimens must be fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin or B plus; all other fixatives will be rejected. Fresh tissues must be fixed and transferred according to the stability and storage requirements. Shipping should avoid extreme temperatures, using ambient conditions with appropriately separated refrigerated gel packs for FFPE blocks and slides.
