Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Panel
Use
This test is intended for individuals with relevant features who have a clinical or suspected diagnosis of congenital diaphragmatic hernia. It is also suitable for individuals with isolated or complex CDH who require a genetic diagnosis for management and counseling. Patients with a family history of congenital diaphragmatic hernia or those with abnormal prenatal ultrasound findings suggestive of this condition can also benefit from this genetic testing.
Special Instructions
The test can be ordered with Exome-Wide CNV Analysis or STAT Testing options. Turnaround time for STAT Testing is 7 - 16 days. For more related testing options, once the report is received, there are additional approaches available, including targeted family testing.
Limitations
The tests were developed and validated by PreventionGenetics LLC following CAP and CLIA regulations. However, these tests have not been approved or cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration.
