CXCL13 Immunostain, Technical Component Only
Use
CXCL13 (CXC motif chemokine ligand 13) is useful in the classification of nodal T-cell lymphomas with T-follicular helper (TFH) phenotype, and the diagnosis of follicular dendritic cell sarcoma. Immunohistochemical staining helps to assess the expression of CXCL13, offering insights into specific conditions related to T-cell lymphomas and aiding in the differential diagnosis based on cellular morphology and immunophenotypic profile.
Special Instructions

Limitations
The test does not include pathologist interpretation; only technical performance of the stain is offered. Interpretation requires Pathology Consultation for a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation. Age of a cut paraffin section can impact immunoreactivity, and stability thresholds are antigen-dependent. Best practice recommends paraffin sections be cut within 6 weeks to ensure optimal results. Nonformalin fixed tissue or nonparaffin embedded tissues will result in specimen rejection.
