Special Instructions

Positive results from immunoassay screenings are automatically reflexed for mass spectrometry confirmation, which may incur additional charges. This test is not designed for forensic purposes and the results should be used for medical purposes only. The test does not distinguish between delta-8 and delta-9 THC metabolites.

Limitations

An immunoassay may yield an unconfirmed positive result which might be useful for medical purposes but does not meet forensic standards. The absence of expected drugs/drug metabolites might indicate noncompliance, improperly timed specimen collection, poor absorption, or the limitations of the test.
