Use

This test detects IgG antibodies against Entamoeba histolytica in human serum. It is used clinically to identify current or past infection with E. histolytica, aiding in the diagnosis of amoebiasis, particularly in patients with gastrointestinal symptoms suggestive of invasive disease.
