Use
This immunohistochemistry (IHC) antibody cocktail detects both herpes simplex virus type I and type II antigens. It reacts with major glycoproteins in the viral envelope and at least one core protein, without cross‑reacting with cytomegalovirus or Epstein‑Barr virus. It is well suited for detecting HSV in superficial lesions or biopsies and early identification in infected tissue cultures.

Collection Instructions
FFPE tissue block preferred or one unbaked unstained slide for H&E (required) plus two to three positively charged unstained slides (4‑5 microns). Block and slide identifiers must match requisition.
Storage Instructions
Use cold pack for transport; do not let cold pack touch specimen directly.
