Use

Special Instructions
Ensure proper specimen collection by following strict guidelines, including the use of citrated plasma collected by double centrifugation to maintain the integrity of the sample. Blue-top tubes must be filled to completion to achieve correct blood to anticoagulant ratios. Avoid using arms with heparin locks or heparinized catheters for specimen collection.
Limitations

Collection Instructions
Citrated plasma samples should be collected by double centrifugation. Blood should be collected in a blue-top tube containing 3.2% buffered sodium citrate. Evacuated collection tubes must be filled to completion. Mix gently by inversion and freeze immediately after collection and preparation.
