Use
This Mineral/Element Panel informs healthcare providers of patients’ levels of essential nutritional elements—such as calcium, chromium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, and zinc—allowing for guidance on dietary changes, supplementation needs, or prescription therapy to support immune, metabolic, bone, cardiovascular and neurological health.
Special Instructions
Recommended specimen requirements include serum collected in trace‑metal‑free no‑additive (royal blue‑top) tube, or EDTA trace metal‑free (royal blue‑top) tubes for whole blood or packed red blood cells. Patient preparation requires overnight fasting and refraining from vitamins or mineral supplements for three days and from legumes and leafy vegetables for two days prior to collection.
