Use

This FISH test employs MYC (8q24) probes to detect gene rearrangements associated with Burkitt lymphoma, other lymphomas, non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), and B‑cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B‑ALL). MYC oncogene amplification is commonly associated with B‑cell malignancies, with >90% of Burkitt lymphomas and other aggressive lymphomas demonstrating 8q24/MYC amplification. This marker is available either separately or as part of the NHL FISH Panel.
