Use
Detection of oxycodone and oxymorphone in urine following chain-of‑custody procedures. This test is intended for use in contexts where results may be used definitively in a court of law, with chain‑of‑custody procedures demonstrating that the specimen was controlled and minimized opportunity for tampering.
Special Instructions
Chain‑of‑Custody Kit (T282) required; includes containers, seals, documentation. Chain of Custody Request form included in kit; if not ordering electronically, send Therapeutics Test Request (T831). Reflex and additional testing: OXYCX (confirmation), COCH (processing), ADLTX (adulterants survey).
Limitations
Initial immunoassay screen; positives reflex to confirmatory testing (LC‑MS/MS) at additional charge. No STAT requests accepted. Submitting less than 2.5 mL may compromise testing. All specimens evaluated for suitability; certain conditions may lead to rejection.
