P504S, AMACR
Use
P504S is an enzyme involved in the beta-oxidation of branched-chain fatty acids. IHC staining of P504S is useful in identifying prostate carcinoma and prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (including atypical adenomatous hyperplasia).

Limitations
Specimens must be fixed in 10% NBF or B plus. All other fixatives will be rejected. Alternative fixatives may not provide accurate results. Shipping conditions should be ambient with proper temperature regulation to prevent damage.
