Use
p57 is a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor, cell cycle inhibitor, and tumor suppressor gene. Staining of p57 is used in the aid of differentiating complete hydatidiform mole (no nuclear labeling of cytotrophoblasts and stromal cells) from partial hydatidiform mole, in which both cytotrophoblasts and stromal cells stain.
