PrEP HIV Baseline, Male Panel with Reflexes
Also known as: Truvada, PrEP Monitoring, Tenofovir, HIV Prevention, TDF/FTC
Use
This panel is intended to determine clinical eligibility for HIV pre‑exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) in male patients. It includes CDC guideline–recommended baseline testing components such as HIV‑1/2 antigen/antibody (4th generation), renal function (e.g., creatinine, eGFR), hepatitis B and C screening (HBV HBsAg, HBcAb, HBsAb; HCV antibody), syphilis (RPR with reflex to titer and confirmatory testing), and screening for chlamydia and gonorrhea via NAAT—thus allowing comprehensive evaluation prior to initiating PrEP.
