Rapid Whole Genome Sequencing, Familial Control with Report

Use
This test is used to submit parental or familial comparator samples for rapid whole genome sequencing (ARUP test code 3019947). Unlike the comparator-only option without a report, this version provides a full report for the parental/familial control sample, including secondary findings when opted in. It aids interpretation of the proband's genomic data.
Special Instructions
Change effective as of January 20, 2026: refer to test code 3019953 as noted in the January Hotline. Ordering requires the Genome Sequencing Intake Form. Secondary findings require provider opt-in on the proband’s intake form.
