Order TestUse
This test measures the body's immune response to tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus), helping to identify potential allergies to this herb. In vitro allergen-specific IgE tests can assist the physician in identifying sensitization to this specific allergen. Tartagon, a whole allergen from the Asteraceae family, may rarely induce IgE-mediated reactions in sensitized individuals. Cross-reactivity with related species in the Asteraceae family may also occur.
