This test provides identification and quantitation of tricyclic antidepressants—including amitriptyline, nortriptyline, imipramine, desipramine, doxepin, nordoxepin, clomipramine, desmethylclomipramine—and totals for each drug and class. It is used for therapeutic drug monitoring, compliance assessment, and toxicology evaluation.
Special Instructions
Collect at steady‑state trough concentration; specimen should be collected more than 12 hours after dose.
