Allergen, Fungi and Molds, Fusarium solani IgE

Use
The Allergen, Fungi and Molds, Fusarium solani IgE test is used to detect and quantify the presence of specific IgE antibodies against the mold Fusarium solani in the patient's serum. This test aids in diagnosing allergenic sensitization to this mold and is helpful in the assessment of allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis or asthma that might be exacerbated by exposure to Fusarium solani.
Special Instructions
Ensure adequate volume for allergen testing. The test is performed at Eurofins Viracor, LLC, and requires separate specimens if multiple tests are ordered. It is not performed at ARUP Laboratories.
Limitations
This test has been developed and its performance characteristics determined by Eurofins Viracor. It has not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Lipemic specimens are unacceptable as they may interfere with test results.
