Estradiol (Adult Males, Children, Postmenopausal Females, or Individuals on Estrogen-Suppressing Hormone Therapy)
Also known as: ESDIOL TMS
Use
This mass spectrometry test is utilized to measure a wide range of estradiol concentrations. It is particularly useful when low estradiol concentrations are expected, regardless of the patient's sex assigned at birth. It is used to monitor estradiol in individuals on estrogen-suppressing hormone therapies, such as aromatase inhibitors or testosterone.
