Granzyme B by Immunohistochemistry
Also known as: GRANZB IHC
Use
Immunohistochemistry stain performed as a technical "stain and return" service to detect presence of Granzyme B antigen in tissue or cell specimens, aiding in diagnostic categorization (e.g., lymphoid or NK/T-cell lineage assessment).
Special Instructions
Submit electronic request or use ARUP Immunohistochemistry Stain Form (#32978) with ARUP client number. Request refers to stain-only service (technical), not a full diagnostic panel. Interface Map available for detailed build recommendations. Ordering brochure referenced.
Limitations
Specimens must be formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue or cellblock; non-representative or depleted specimens are unacceptable. Frozen specimens unacceptable. Slides must be unbaked; if using precut slides, cannot be oven baked. Transported in proper kits. Service is technical only, without interpretation component at ARUP.
