Use
This immunohistochemical stain (technical service only) detects trypsin (Peptidase S1 domain, PRSS1) in tissue specimens. It is intended for diagnostic or research purposes as performed at ARUP Laboratories and leverages immunohistochemistry methodology. It serves as a technical stain-and-return service.
Special Instructions
Ordering guidance refers users to the ARUP Immunohistochemistry Stain Offerings brochure. This is a stain-and‑return (technical) service only. ARUP supply #47808 tissue transport kit is recommended but not required for submission of the paraffin block or slides.
Limitations
This test is a laboratory-developed test (LDT) and has not been cleared or approved by the US Food and Drug Administration. It is performed in a CLIA-certified laboratory. Interpretation is not included as this is a technical service only; only the stain is performed and returned.
