Suggested Custom Slice – Fanconi Anemia
Use
This is a custom-targeted exome analysis (“Slice” test) tailored for Fanconi anemia gene(s). It enables focused analysis of specific genes associated with Fanconi anemia by capturing exome data but limiting analysis strictly to a provider-specified gene list relevant to the phenotype.
Special Instructions
Order via the Custom Slice tool; provider submits a gene list that must be reviewed and approved within 3 business days. A unique tracking number is issued and must be included with the sample. ACMG secondary findings are not reported unless included in the custom list.
Limitations
Analytic pipeline only evaluates the specified gene list and does not report secondary findings not on that list. Exome data are generated but not comprehensively reviewed outside the custom panel. Additional fees apply for separate reports on family members.
