Influenza A and Influenza B, NAA
Use
Detection of Influenza A and Influenza B to assist in the diagnosis of viral respiratory infections.
Special Instructions
Not provided.
Limitations
This test was developed and its performance characteristics determined by Labcorp but has not been cleared or approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Potential limitations include possible non-detects due to variations in viral load, timing of specimen collection, or presence of substances inhibitory to PCR. Stability of samples and use of proper collection methods are crucial for accurate results.
