MYCN Oncology FISH
Also known as: FISH, Leukemia FISH, Lymphoma FISH
Use
Confirmation/identification of leukemia/lymphoma-related alterations; leukemia/lymphoma monitoring of residual disease, transplants, and indolent clones (see list or call lab for probe availability)
Special Instructions
Include pertinent clinical diagnosis and previous cytogenetic studies on the test request form. Utilize sterile technique and Labcorp transport kits when possible for specimen collection and transport to the testing laboratory at room temperature. Do not allow samples to overheat or freeze.
Limitations

This test is developed and its performance characteristics are determined by Labcorp. It has not been cleared or approved by the FDA. Results should be interpreted within the context of histology, IHC, and a pathological evaluation. All paraffin-embedded tissues referred for FISH testing are reviewed by a pathologist.
