Thrombosis, Venous Risk Profile
Clinical Use
Order TestUse
This panel evaluates both acquired and genetic risk factors associated with venous thrombosis, including anticardiolipin antibodies (IgG and IgM), β2‑glycoprotein 1 antibodies (IgA, IgG, IgM), antithrombin activity, D‑dimer, dRVVT screen, factor II (prothrombin) and factor V Leiden mutation analyses, as well as protein C functional activity and free protein S antigen. These assays support assessment of predisposition to venous thromboembolism (VTE) through detection of autoantibodies, coagulation inhibitors, fibrin degradation products, and key thrombophilia mutations.
