Pain Clinic Survey 10, CoC, U
Use
The Pain Clinic Survey 10, Chain of Custody, Random, Urine test is used for detecting drug use involving various substances such as amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, methadone, opiates, phencyclidine, and tetrahydrocannabinol. This test ensures the integrity of the specimen by following a chain of custody, which is required when results might be used legally. It is important for cases where results can inform a definitive diagnosis, protecting individuals against specimen tampering.
Special Instructions
This test is intended for use within settings where results may be used legally, and as such, chain of custody is maintained. Importantly, it is not intended for employment-related testing and involves additional tests and confirmations as needed of positive results, using various mass spectrometry techniques at an additional charge. Adulterants testing will also be automatically performed on all samples.
Limitations
The test is not suitable for employment-related screenings and is specifically designed for use in legal contexts where chain of custody is required. Screening can produce false positives that require confirmation and quantitation through more accurate definitive methods such as gas or liquid chromatography mass spectrometry. This thorough follow-up testing ensures accuracy but also involves additional cost. Specimen tampering is highly improbable but not absolutely impossible.
