Sulfatide Autoantibody Test
Use
Detection of anti‑Sulfatide antibodies, including IgG and more commonly IgM types, which have been associated with sensory and sensory‑motor neuropathies sometimes accompanied by pain, as well as associations of IgG anti‑sulfatide antibodies with distal sensory polyneuropathy (DSP) in individuals with HIV. Results must be interpreted in the context of clinical findings, patient history, and other laboratory data.
