Chromosome Analysis Peripheral Blood (Constitutional)
Use
Constitutional cytogenetic analysis of peripheral blood lymphocytes is performed to detect germline chromosomal abnormalities. This includes numerical and structural abnormalities, which can be associated with various constitutional diseases.
Special Instructions

Limitations
The test is subject to rejection if the specimen is clotted, exposed to extreme temperatures, uses anticoagulants toxic to cells, or has an insufficient number of cells. It is also intended for clinical use, and turnaround times may change based on biopharma protocol requirements.
