IGH 14q32 Rearrangement
Use
FISH test on hematologic specimens for detection of IGH (14q32) gene rearrangement. IGH is frequently rearranged in a variety of neoplasms, including B-cell lymphoma, lymphoproliferative disorder, CLL, and myeloid neoplasms.
Special Instructions
All attempts will be made to process and report samples received > 72 hours post-collection. Bone marrow is the sample of choice in most heme malignancies.
Limitations
Stated turn-around-times (TATs) are for clinical use only and subject to change based on biopharma protocol requirements. Samples exposed to extreme temperatures or clotted specimens may be rejected. Turnaround times are not guaranteed for samples that are inadequately preserved or shipped.
