IGH::CCND1 (BCL1); t(11;14)
Use
FISH test on hematologic specimens for detection of IGH::CCND1 gene fusion. This fusion, associated with t(11;14), is observed in > 90% of mantle cell lymphoma and a subset of plasma cell neoplasms, follicular lymphoma, endometrial adenocarcinoma, and prolymphocytic leukemia.
Special Instructions
All attempts will be made to process and report samples received > 72 hours post-collection. Bone marrow is the sample of choice in most heme malignancies.
Limitations
Turn-around-times (TATs) are for clinical use only and subject to change based on biopharma protocol requirements. Final TATs will be specified in the biopharma study contract.
