Use
S100 is a calcium-binding protein widely expressed in various cell types, including those of neural, glial, and mesenchymal origin. In pathology, S100 is commonly used to help identify tumors of neural or melanocytic origin, such as schwannomas, melanomas, and dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans.
