ALK-1, (For heme cases)
Also known as: ALK1 for lymphoma
Use
ALK‑1 is a membrane‑spanning tyrosine kinase receptor and member of the insulin receptor family. Overexpression of ALK‑1 may result from translocations, mutations, and amplifications. Tumors with ALK‑1 translocations are sensitive to ALK‑1 inhibitors, making this assay useful for identifying a subgroup of anaplastic large‑cell lymphoma (ALCL) that are ALK‑positive.
