Arginase 1
Use
Arginase 1 (ARG1), also known as liver arginase, is a binuclear manganese metalloenzyme. ARG1 is abundantly expressed in liver and represents a sensitive and specific marker of benign and malignant hepatocytes that may be a useful diagnostic tool in routine surgical pathology practice.
Special Instructions
Block and slide identifiers should be clearly written and match exactly with the specimen ID and specimen labeling as noted on the requisition. Use cold pack for transport, making sure the cold pack is not in direct contact with the specimen. NYS clients please provide date and time of collection.
