Use
CD19 recognizes a 95 kD cell surface glycoprotein expressed on B‑cell lineage cells and follicular dendritic cells. It functions as a co‑receptor with CD21 and plays a key role in the regulation of B‑lymphocyte development, activation, and differentiation. This marker may provide useful diagnostic information in the evaluation of B‑lymphoproliferative disorders.

Collection Instructions
Formalin‑fixed, paraffin‑embedded (FFPE) tissue block is preferred, or one unbaked unstained slide for H&E staining (required) plus two to three positively charged unstained slides (4‑5 microns) per test/antibody ordered. Block and slide identifiers should match specimen ID and labeling on requisition.
Storage Instructions
Use cold pack for transport; ensure cold pack does not touch specimen directly. NYS clients: provide date and time of collection.
