CD23 Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
Use
CD23 is identical to the low affinity IgE receptor found on B‑cells and is expressed on a subpopulation of peripheral blood cells, B‑lymphocytes, and EBV‑transformed B‑lymphoblastoid cell lines. It is most useful in distinguishing B‑cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL) from other entities and may remain present in CLL/SLL that has undergone large cell transformation.
