CD45 (LCA)
Use
CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA) comprises at least four isoforms (CD45RA, CD45RB, CD45RC and CD45RO) of membrane glycoproteins expressed on hematopoietic cells (human leukocytes, including lymphocytes, monocytes, and eosinophils), and is absent on normal and malignant non‑hematopoietic tissues.

Collection Instructions
Formalin‑fixed, paraffin‑embedded (FFPE) tissue block is preferred; or one unbaked, unstained slide for H&E staining (required) and two to three (2‑3) positively charged unstained slides (all cut at 4‑5 microns) per test/antibody ordered. Block and slide identifiers must match specimen ID as on requisition.
Storage Instructions
Use cold pack for transport; ensure cold pack is not in direct contact with specimen. NYS clients please provide date and time of collection.
