EBV (LMP1)
Use
This immunohistochemistry (IHC) assay detects latent membrane protein 1 (LMP1) of Epstein–Barr virus (EBV). It reacts strongly with EBV‑positive lymphoblastoid cell lines and EBV‑infected B‑cell immunoblasts in infectious mononucleosis, and also identifies EBV‑associated neoplasms, particularly EBV‑associated Hodgkin lymphoma.
